Jamaican Twist went green

Notting Hill 2017 was a year to remember for many reasons. Following the tragedy of Grenfell Fire, it was a time for reflection, remembrance and celebration of life.

Notting Hill carnival was started to bring together a community during oppression. To entertain , lift the spirits of those who lived in poor slum conditions, to ease racial tensions and to demonstrate the spirit of the caribbean music, culture and people.

Jamaican Twist in association with Turtle Bay restaurants went Green for Grenfell. It was amazing to see the sea of green behind the truck and the massive Grenfell logo at the back. Jamaican Twist are donating £1 from every T-shirt sale to the Grenfell Tower fund.
