Jamaican Twist went green
Notting Hill 2017 was a year to remember for many reasons. Following the tragedy of Grenfell Fire, it was a time for reflection, remembrance and celebration of life. Notting Hill carnival was started to bring together a community during oppression. To entertain , lift the spirits of those who lived in poor slum conditions, to ease racial tensions and to demonstrate the spirit of the caribbean music, culture and people. Jamaican Corner at Manchester Carnival
This year at Manchester Carnival, Jamaican Twist and Fusion Hi power went big. We represented Jamaica by hosting the Jamaican Corner. We had Turtle Bay restaurants providing the residents of Manchester and far and wide with the Rum bar, showcasing their legendary cocktails.
